I've been following the Darrell Mack Wells case for a while, and something just isn't sitting right with me about where his truck was found. It seems strange that he would leave his wallet in the vehicle if he planned on going anywhere on foot afterward, especially that late at night. Also, why Johnson's Furniture parking lot of all places? It's not like it’s a spot where you'd just leave a car and walk away at 2 in the morning. I'm curious if there were any surveillance cameras around that area back in 2001. If so, have they been checked thoroughly? It's baffling that his truck was just sitting there for days without anyone noticing until New Year's Day. I wonder if someone moved it there after the fact...
Has anyone looked into the security footage from around Johnson's Furniture Store during the time Darrell's truck was found? It seems like such an obvious place to check for clues, especially when no one's been able to figure out what happened after he left his parent's house. I know it was back in 2001, so the quality might not be the best, but maybe something was captured that could help. It's strange that his wallet was found but no signs of him at all. Could someone have just left his truck there to throw everyone off? Really hoping there's something that hasn't been explored yet that could finally provide answers.
