Did anyone else feel a chill learning about Carolyn's case? It's been over three decades, and I can only imagine how painful it must be for her family and friends to have no answers all this time. What really sticks with me is how this happened right in her own home—it feels like such a violation of safety and trust. Her apartment on Gault Avenue would have been where she felt most secure, and that makes this even more unsettling. Have there been any updates from the Ohio BCI or the AG’s efforts to raise case visibility? It's critical to keep the dialogue going around these cold cases. Someone out there knows something, and it's so important for Carolyn's family to get the closure they so desperately need. If anyone has any new info or ideas about how to bring more attention to her case, please share. Maybe together we can help bring some justice for Carolyn.
Hi everyone,
I've been diving deep into the case of Carolyn Battle, the young woman from Columbus, Ohio, whose life was senselessly taken back in 1991. One thing that really stands out to me is how the authorities have been trying to keep these old cases visible to the public. It’s a relief to know that Carolyn's story hasn't been forgotten by those in law enforcement and that efforts to find new leads continue.
For those familiar with other cold cases, how effective do you think these public initiatives are in bringing fresh information to light? I'm hopeful but curious if anyone has insights or experiences with similar ongoing cases. My heart goes out to Carolyn's family and friends as they continue the agonizing wait for answers, and I sincerely hope we can all contribute in some way to help bring them the justice they deserve.
Stay safe and let’s keep Carolyn in our thoughts. Any new tips or theories are always welcome!
Warm regards,

I can't stop thinking about Carolyn Battle and the fact that her life was taken so senselessly. ? I was reading some older newspaper articles and came across a mention that she had just celebrated her birthday a couple of weeks before she was killed. It made me think about how much she could have achieved and experienced if she was still with us today.
It’s disheartening how little progress seems to have been made in solving her murder. The idea that someone responsible has been living their life while her family and friends have been left seeking answers is infuriating. I can only hope that with advancements in technology and new eyes on the evidence, we'll see progress in her case.
If anyone here was living in Columbus back then or has heard anything over the years, even the smallest detail could make a difference. It's been over 30 years, but justice hasn't expired. Let's keep Carolyn's memory alive and keep pushing for answers. ? Be kind and spread the word about her case so that her family might finally get the answers they deserve.
