I’ve been following Robert Bockmann's case for a while, and something that always strikes me is the location where his car was found. The South Boulder Creek Trailhead at Walker Ranch seems like it would be pretty busy, even on a weekday. I wonder if anyone saw him there or if there were any surveillance cameras nearby at that time. It's puzzling that his belongings were left in the vehicle. Was that a sign he planned to come back, or was he simply not thinking clearly due to his mental health issues? I haven’t been able to find much information about other hikers or visitors who might’ve been questioned around that time. Curious if anyone else has insights or if there are similar cases with cars found in hiking areas.
