I've been following Selina Ruth Barfield's case, and something that really stands out to me is the location where she was living just before she went missing—Fremont Trailer Park on Belmont Road. Knowing it was a small community, I wonder if anyone there might have seen or heard something unusual around the time she disappeared. It's a long shot, but sometimes these close-knit areas hold secrets or someone might recall a detail that seemed insignificant back then. Has there been any discussion or interview with the people who lived there at the time? Could be worth revisiting those connections. Just a thought.
Does anyone else find it odd that Selina called her uncle on July 29, 2003, but vanished soon after? It makes me wonder if something specific happened around that time. Why call him instead of anyone else? Did she mention anything unusual or alarming during that call? I read her family was trying to get her into rehab, so maybe she was reaching out for help or some kind of support. It's also concerning that she missed an important appointment afterward. Maybe something was scaring her off? Could her boyfriend have found out about the plans for rehab, and it escalated from there? I feel like the timeline between her last contact and her disappearance might hold some big clues if we could piece it together. Anyone have any insights into that phone call or the events leading up to it?
Has anyone ever looked into the specifics of the Fremont Trailer Park where Selina was last known to be living? It's alarming how many cases involve abusive relationships and the environments that perpetuate them. I wonder what kind of neighbors she had or if there's any community information that could give a clue. It's also concerning that she was due for rehab and then just vanished. Makes you wonder if someone involved with her prior legal issues might have had a hand in her disappearance. Sending strength to her family; no one should have to go this long without answers.
