Did anyone else think it was odd that Daniel supposedly left to buy cigarettes but didn’t take any money or ID with him? From what I understand, it would have been nearly impossible for him to make a purchase without either. It makes me wonder if he ever intended to buy cigarettes at all or if it was just an excuse to leave the school premises. It seems like a strange detail in the timeline of his disappearance, especially since he had mentioned wanting to run away. It raises so many questions about what might have been going through his mind that morning. Also, what about those sightings in San Diego and Blythe? I find it hard to believe he could survive on his own without resources for that long. Does anyone have more info on the area near the waterfall where he was allegedly seen? It must have been rough for him, especially considering his emotional struggles.
I came across Daniel Yuen’s case and something struck me about the 2018 voicemail claiming he didn’t want to be found. Has anyone else wondered if this could have been some sort of hoax or a prank call? I mean, how can we be sure it was really from Daniel? The timing is just so odd—14 years later, and suddenly there's this message. It makes me think about the possibility of it being a distraction or even someone playing a cruel joke on his family. It's hard to imagine the pain his family must feel receiving such a cryptic message after all these years. Has there been any analysis or investigation into tracing this call? Maybe others have insights or similar situations in other missing person cases—let’s keep discussing and see if we can piece anything together.
