Does anyone have more info on Gary's mental state before he went missing? I've been following his case for a while, and it's so troubling that he was dealing with blood cancer and depression. It makes me wonder if his health challenges were too overwhelming for him. With his last sighting being a walk on the Gandy Dancer Trail, I can't help but think he might have just wanted some solitude. That trail isn't exactly isolated, so it’s strange no one saw anything suspicious. I’m curious if any locals noticed anything odd or if there have been searches around less obvious areas like side trails or hidden spots off the main track. Any insights would be much appreciated! Let's keep this discussion going and hope for a breakthrough.

Has anyone heard about any search efforts conducted on the Gandy Dancer Trail shortly after Gary disappeared? It seems like such an expansive area, and with him heading there that morning, I'm curious about how thoroughly it was searched back in 2004. I've been reading about the case and noticed that no significant leads have come out—makes me wonder if revisiting the site with new tech or search methods might not be a bad idea. Also, Gary’s tattoos could be big identifiers; if he did encounter someone, maybe they've seen those recognizable marks? If anyone has more details on the initial search or ideas for a renewed one, let’s discuss!
