I recently came across the case of Craig Frear while diving into unsolved mysteries, and one detail that caught my attention is the decision to search the nearby train tracks. I find myself wondering how thorough these searches actually were. We know that Craig was last seen walking into the woods, but given the proximity to the tracks, wouldn't it make sense to consider the possibility that he might have ventured there afterward?
Considering the timeline and the potential for foul play, does anyone know more about the train activity in that area back then? Were the tracks heavily used, or could they have been a place to hide out or inadvertently get into trouble? It's been years, and maybe some track workers or local residents from that time period could have seen something. This might be a long shot, but any insight might be helpful. Thoughts?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about the Craig Frear case in Scotia, NY. Specifically, I’m curious about the location where he was last seen. Does anyone have insights into the Cambridge Manor complex area and the nearby woods where Craig was reportedly headed? It seems strange that someone could completely disappear without a trace in such a residential area.
I've read that extensive searches were done there, but has anyone looked into how dense the woods are? Are there any stories or local rumors about these woods that could give a clue why no evidence has surfaced? Sometimes locals have the kind of knowledge that can be easily overlooked by outsiders or search teams.
Also, it's strange that his car and personal belongings were left behind. Could it suggest he had a plan to return, or is there another explanation that fits better with this case? Any ideas or theories would be appreciated.
Thanks!
