Hey everyone, I’ve been following Chad Richard Kirkendall's case for a while, and something that really stands out to me is the vehicle crash. His roommate's car was found in a ditch along Road 408, but where exactly along that road? Was it closer to the main highway or more towards the secluded areas near Woodlands Camp? I’m no expert, but could something have startled or distracted him to cause that crash? Or maybe someone else was involved, and they abandoned the car there? It’s a mystery that really piques my curiosity. I also wonder why he left his shoes behind—was that intentional or just a spur-of-the-moment decision? Anyone else have thoughts on this or any insights that might help piece things together?
I've been following Chad Kirkendall's case for a while now, and one thing that puzzles me is the location of the abandoned vehicle near the Woodlands Camp. Considering Mendocino isn't a huge area, why would he end up there? I mean, did Chad have any known connections to that specific spot? It seems so remote. I know eyewitness reports can sometimes be misleading, but if he really was close to Mendocino Elementary School, it's quite a ways from where the car was found. Could there have been anyone else near the area around the time the car was ditched? Maybe a camper or someone local might have seen something but didn't realize it was connected to Chad's disappearance. If anyone familiar with the area or the timeline has insights or theories, I'd love to hear them.
