Hey everyone, I've been following Shelby Raistlin Wright's case for a while, like many of you here. Something I've always found puzzling is the fact that his laptop vanished with him. It’s mentioned that he used to frequent chat rooms. I can’t help but wonder if maybe he came across someone online who wasn't who they claimed to be. Chat rooms back in 2004 were pretty unregulated and oftentimes a bit sketchy. Do we know if investigators ever looked into his online activity? It seems like such a crucial piece of the puzzle, especially considering how easy it was back then for people to hide behind fake identities. Thoughts? Do any of you recall similar cases where online contacts played a role in teenage disappearances?
