Has anyone else been puzzled by the timing of Alberto Batista's disappearance? It seems really unusual that he vanished just before his girlfriend passed away. Her mother reported him missing ten days later, which makes me wonder if anything was going on between them that we don't know about. Was there ever any mention of tension or issues in their relationship? It's strange that he would leave and not return before such a critical moment in his girlfriend's life. Also, why did it take so long for someone to report him missing? You'd think family or friends might have been concerned sooner. Really hope we can find some new leads after all these years.
Okay, am I the only one who's really intrigued by the timing of Batista’s disappearance? I mean, he left right before his girlfriend passed away and was never seen again. Seems strange, don’t you think? I’m curious if anyone local remembers anything odd about that day or noticed if he ever returned to the area.
Also, if he was on a bicycle, was it ever found? Being on a bike would mean he wouldn’t have got too far too fast. Did searches cover bike paths or routes he might have taken regularly? It’s so baffling how none of this led to any strong leads all these years. If anyone out there knows more about biking paths in the Auburndale area from back in '04, maybe feel free to weigh in?
