Alberto Batista, aged 63, was last seen on September 6, 2004, in Auburndale, Florida. He left his residence on a bicycle shortly before his girlfriend passed away from natural causes. His girlfriend's mother reported him missing on September 16, 2004, after he failed to return home. Batista, who was known to use the first name Figuerado, has not been seen or heard from since.
