Has anyone looked into the possibility that ReJean might have been trying to get away from something more specific that night? I mean, it’s pretty common for people dealing with paranoid schizophrenia to have episodes where they feel like someone's after them or they need to escape a certain situation. He left at such an odd hour, and his plan to go to Dunkin' Donuts, while not entirely unusual, seems like it might have been a front for something else on his mind.
Plus, we know he took his Ambien with him—could he have intended to use it immediately, or was he feeling unsafe and just wanted to make sure he had all his essential meds? It's just really concerning he left with so little on him. And yeah, with his history of substance abuse, there's that lingering question if he might have run into someone or fallen in with the wrong crowd on his way there or elsewhere.
I keep wondering if anyone's thoroughly checked the local shelters or places further out where he might have wandered. It’s also curious there’s no mention of potential sightings shortly after he was last seen. Sometimes people might not report it thinking it’s insignificant but could be crucial in piecing together his movements. It could be helpful if anyone who lived in that area back then recalls seeing him or speaking with him.
I was reading about ReJean Joseph Bowman today and found myself thinking about the timing of his disappearance. It seems odd to me that he left around 3:30 a.m. to get coffee at Dunkin' Donuts, especially since he had Ambien with him, which usually indicates someone might be aiming to sleep, not wake up. Could this have been a sign of planning something else entirely? Maybe he wasn't even planning to return home? I know people with mental health issues sometimes act in unpredictable ways, but I can't help but wonder if his intention was really just to grab a coffee or if he had a different plan in mind that night. It would be interesting to know if Dunkin' Donuts was his regular late-night stop or if this was entirely out of the ordinary for him. Thoughts?
