Did anyone else find it odd that there were no school records or reliable accounts of Aarone attending classes for such a long time before she was reported missing? You'd think that someone after 18 months — a teacher, a neighbor, or even a relative — might have noticed Aarone was missing for that long. I wonder if any outreach or welfare checks were ever attempted by the school district. It's baffling to think about how this was overlooked for so long. Perhaps systemic failures within the educational or child welfare systems contributed to the delayed discovery of her situation. What do others think about this aspect of the case?

Has anyone else found it puzzling how Aarone's disappearance went unreported for so long? I mean, 18 months is such a huge gap. What were the neighbors or her school doing during this time? It just seems odd that nobody noticed anything off or questioned her absence. Maybe there were people who suspected something but didn't know what was going on behind closed doors. It's chilling to think about how children can sometimes just vanish from the lives of those around them without raising any red flags. Would be interesting to hear more about community involvement, or lack thereof, during that period.
