I've been digging into the Charles Westfall case, and one thing that's been bugging me is the route he took to end up in Statesville, NC. I mean, why there of all places? It's such a significant distance from Tulsa; you'd think there would be some clue along the way, either from gas stations, diners, or rest stops. Did he have any known connections in that area, or is it possible he was just driving aimlessly due to his mental state?
It seems odd that nobody reported seeing a car matching the description of his Toyota Camry making such a long trip. Could he have been traveling late at night or using less-traveled routes to avoid detection? Locals, have you noticed any observations or heard anything that might seem relevant to this timeline? His family and friends are still searching for any shred of information.
I find it really strange how Charles Westfall's car ended up over 1,000 miles away in Statesville, NC. Has anyone looked into any connections he might have had in that area? It seems unlikely that his car would be driven so far without a reason. I wonder if he could have met someone online who lived there or had some kind of plan to drive out? Maybe there's a connection nobody's considered yet. It feels like there could be more to the story if we dig a little deeper into his online activities or any communications he might have had leading up to his disappearance. What do you all think?
Has anyone else noticed how odd it is that Charles Westfall's car ended up all the way in Statesville, North Carolina? Over 1,000 miles from Tulsa seems like such a huge distance to cover without leaving any trace. I've seen some speculation about him driving there himself, but considering his mental health history and state of mind at the time, could he have had help, maybe unknowingly? Did he hitch a ride with someone? I feel like the location of the car might be a crucial clue, but without any other evidence, it's almost like the car just appeared there on its own. Just can't wrap my head around what would make someone drive so far from home, only to leave their vehicle abandoned. Thoughts?
