Has anyone looked into the possibility that Sherwin Butler's case might somehow be connected to other unsolved murders in the Columbus area around that time? I read there were several similar incidents, and sometimes these cold cases have overlapping details that could be vital. It's frustrating that after so many years, his family still doesn't have answers. I can only imagine the pain his loved ones must feel not knowing what really happened. Also, if anyone has insights on how the Ohio BCI prioritizes cases, I’d love to understand more about their process and whether this affects how resources are allocated. Every bit of information, even if it seems small, could be key to unraveling the truth. Hoping someone out there remembers something or saw something back in '94. His family deserves closure.

Has anyone else noticed that Sherwin Butler's case doesn't seem to get as much attention as some others from the same time period? It's such a tragic loss, and I can't help but think that the location where it happened might have played a role. 1286 E. 28th Avenue was known to be a pretty tough area back then, and I'm wondering if that has contributed to witnesses being hesitant to come forward for all these years. Neighborhoods can be so deeply impacted by fear and silence, potentially keeping valuable information from surfacing. If there’s anyone who lived nearby or had connections to Franklin County in the mid-90s, sharing your thoughts might help jog someone’s memory. I truly believe community involvement could make a difference. Sherwin and his family deserve answers and some sense of peace. It’s never too late to come forward with what you know.
