I came across something that’s been bothering me about the Everlyse Cabrera case. I was reading through the reports, and it struck me as odd that no one had independently confirmed seeing Everlyse for almost a month before she was reported missing. It makes you wonder why there are no recorded sightings or if any neighbors recall seeing her outside or playing. It seems like such a long time for a two-year-old to go unnoticed by anyone outside her foster home. Does anyone else find this particularly strange? What are the chances that she had any outside interaction during that time? It's just frustrating how these key details might have slipped through unnoticed. Would love to hear any thoughts or similar cases where this kind of detail became crucial.
I've been following Everlyse Cabrera's case for a while, and something that keeps sticking out to me is the timing of everything. The foster parents, Vhee and Manuel Carrascal, said they last saw her at 1 a.m., but didn't report her missing until 12 p.m. It's such a big lapse of time. From what I gather, they said they believed she might have wandered off, which could maybe explain a brief delay, but 11 hours?! Was there ever any explanation given for why they waited so long to call it in? I know some folks might hesitate if they think a kid just wandered off and will come back, but still. The longer you wait, the tougher it gets to find someone. Would be interested in hearing anyone else's thoughts or info on why there was such a long wait to report her missing.
