I still can't wrap my head around the fact that Jorge Hurtado's promising life ended so abruptly. I've been thinking about his music and how much it meant to him. It must be incredibly difficult for his family and friends to know that his lyrics and beats were silenced that night. I read somewhere that he often shared his music late at night; I imagine those calls must be cherished memories now. It's deeply unsettling to see such talent and potential cut short. His dreams of becoming a counselor and helping others showed what a kind heart he had. If anyone out there knows anything that could help bring justice for Jorge, I urge you to come forward. The community deserves answers, and his family deserves peace.

Has anyone here ever attended one of the memorials or gatherings at 23rd and Treat? I've read about the community's efforts to keep Jorge's memory alive, and it seems like those events have been a powerful way for family and friends to cope with the loss. It's clear he touched a lot of lives with his music and positive spirit, and I'm wondering if anyone can share what the atmosphere is like during those gatherings. It must be incredibly moving to see the community come together like that year after year. Also, has there been any new buzz about the case? I can't help but feel for his family; not knowing what happened must be an unbearable weight. Here's hoping someone will eventually come forward with the information that can bring them some peace.
