Jorge "George" Hurtado, an 18-year-old young man from San Francisco, was tragically shot and killed on August 24, 2008, while walking with a friend at 23rd Street and Treat Avenue in the Mission District. Jorge was known for his passion for music and his dreams of performing in front of large audiences.
