I was reading about Loren Laycox's unsolved case and couldn't help but think about the emotional toll on his family, not knowing what happened that night on W. Hubbard Avenue. It’s been over two decades, and I can’t imagine having to wait that long for any kind of resolution. It's important for us to keep talking about cases like Loren's to keep the momentum going and support the investigators in any way we can. I hope that with the continuous advancements in forensic science, there might soon be a breakthrough. Even the slightest piece of information can turn the tide in cases like this. If anyone has the tiniest bit of information or maybe recalls something unusual from that summer, please do reach out to the authorities. It may seem insignificant, but it could make all the difference for Loren's loved ones seeking answers.
