Does anyone else find it strange that Kristen took her cell phone when she fled, but all her other personal items were left behind? I know it seems minor in comparison to everything else, but it makes me wonder if she initially planned to leave the apartment willingly and thought she'd only be gone for a short time. It could have been a spontaneous decision during the argument. Maybe she intended to call someone for help or document whatever was happening. It's so frustrating that we might never know the full story of what happened that night because of the lack of evidence beyond the footage of James. I wish the search efforts had turned up more clues to give her family some peace. Has anyone heard if there were any other developments from witness interviews? It's been so long, but I'm hopeful that speaking out will jog some memories or push for further investigation.

It always amazes me how no one heard anything after that argument between Kristen and James. I mean, neighbors clearly heard her say, "Don't hit me," but then suddenly everything went silent? It bothers me that in shared living spaces like apartments, people often feel like it's not their place to intervene, even if it's just to call the police and let them handle it. If only someone had stepped in that night, maybe things could have turned out differently. I've read in older threads that Kristen's friend who lived with her was out that evening, which makes me wonder—what if someone had just knocked on the door or called to check in? It's baffling, and so important for communities to know when and how to act if they suspect domestic violence. Thoughts? This case just weighs on me.
