I've been following Viridiana's case for a while now, and one thing that keeps catching my attention is the strange timing around the bank account closure. It's so unusual that it happened so soon after she went missing and involved a cashier's check sent to Tacoma. If Jorge was in Charleston just before her disappearance, it raises a lot of questions about his involvement. Could the closure have been orchestrated to divert attention, or is it just a bizarre coincidence? I find it hard to believe that something like this could happen without some sort of foul play being involved. I wonder if authorities have looked into who exactly made that call to close the account and if there are any connections to other people who might have been involved. It feels like a significant piece of this puzzle that's still unanswered. What do you all think about this bank account angle?
I’ve been thinking a lot about the bank account closure in Viridiana's case. It seems incredibly suspicious to me that it was closed by phone and the cashier's check was sent straight to Tacoma, where Jorge was living. If I recall, financial institutions usually require some form of ID verification before making such a transaction over the phone. So, how did this get approved? Could someone have had access to her personal info, or maybe she had shared it with someone she trusted? I know that Jorge hasn’t been charged in her disappearance, but the timing and sequence of events make it hard not to wonder about any possible connections. If anyone on here has experience or knowledge about procedures for closing accounts over the phone, it would be great to get some insights.
