Just been revisiting the Lee Cutler case and something that puzzles me is the presence of his belongings at the makeshift campsite near the Baraboo River. Why leave crucial items like his pants, wallet, and car keys in the water? I get that some folks think it's symbolic, maybe indicating he intended to harm himself, but wouldn’t he need those items if he wanted to start anew? Also, the note to his mom adds another layer to this. The gap between the emotional distress suggested by the note and the possibility of him wanting a fresh start is so perplexing. It makes me wonder if he might have intended one thing and then changed his mind at the last moment. It feels like each item found tells a different story, adding more mystery than clarity. What do you all think? Could there be another reason for how things were found?

I’ve been following Lee Cutler's case for a while, and something I find intriguing is the location where his car was found. Baraboo, Wisconsin, is over 200 miles away from Buffalo Grove. Did Lee have any known connection to that area? It's a bit out of the way for someone just randomly driving, especially considering there were closer options for a similar escape. The fact that his belongings were scattered suggests he perhaps camped there intentionally, but why Baraboo? Are there any locals familiar with the area who might have thoughts on whether it’s a spot someone might go to if they were in distress? Also, were there any cameras along the route he might have travelled? I feel like there could be some clues in why he ended up there of all places. Thoughts?
