It's so tough reading about Crystal Proctor's murder all these years later, especially knowing it’s still unsolved. I’ve been thinking a lot about community involvement in these cold cases. Sometimes, people don’t realize how a small piece of information could be crucial in cases like this. It seems like someone must have seen something or knows something, even if it doesn’t seem important. If you were in the Fairborn area back in '97 or know anyone who was, maybe just having a conversation about it could shake something loose. The smallest detail might be what the investigators need to finally give Crystal's family some peace. Remember, it's been over two decades, but it's never too late to come forward with information. Let's try our best to keep her memory alive and support her family in their ongoing quest for justice.

Can we talk about how sometimes it’s the little details in a case that can lead to a breakthrough? One thing that’s been on my mind about Crystal Proctor’s unsolved case is the location where she was found. A cornfield off Osborn Road doesn’t sound like a typical hangout spot, so how did she end up there? Was it a place she was familiar with, or was it completely random? I can’t imagine the pain Crystal's family must go through not knowing what happened to her. If anyone remembers seeing anything unusual around that area or has heard any chatter, even if it seems small or insignificant, it might be worth mentioning to the authorities. Sometimes putting the pieces of a puzzle together comes from the most unexpected details. Sending support to her loved ones, hoping they’ll find the answers they so deserve.

I was reading about Crystal Proctor's case, and I keep thinking about how often we forget about the impact on the first responders who found her. I can't even imagine what it must have been like for the deputies from the Clark County Sheriff's Office when they arrived at that cornfield and saw the scene. What a difficult job they have, being first on-site and having to piece things together while also dealing with the emotional weight of such a discovery. As much as we focus on finding justice for Crystal—and rightly so—we should also recognize the toll these cases take on the officers, investigators, and volunteers. They carry the heavy burden of these images, and I hope they receive the support they need to process what they've encountered. Here's hoping we can all contribute in some way, even if it's just spreading awareness or offering tips, to help get the answers that Crystal's family and all those involved deserve.
