I’ve been closely following the Lorraine Read case, and there’s one detail that I just can’t wrap my mind around: her unlocked front door. It's so unsettling to think about it being closed but unlocked. Her family mentioned it was uncharacteristic of her to leave like that, especially with the space heater cord ripped and the place in such disarray. Could it be that she knew Vargas somehow or was coerced into opening it? It’s just baffling. I’ve always wondered if there could’ve been noise or a sign that neighbors might have noticed but didn’t report. It’s such an eerie aspect of the case that leaves me with more questions than answers. Anyone else have thoughts on this angle?
