Hey everyone, I came across something interesting while looking into Joseph Robert Clewley's disappearance. Has anyone else thought about the role Chip, his dog, might play in solving this mystery? I mean, it's baffling how Chip managed to stay in good condition for 20 days before returning home. This makes me wonder if someone might have come across Chip and taken care of him during that time. Perhaps someone in the area saw Chip alone and offered him food and shelter? It's a bit of a long shot, but could there be connections to people in the surrounding communities who might know more? I'm curious if there's been any outreach to locals who might frequently hike the area or live nearby. Thoughts?

Has anyone else been puzzled by the return of Joseph Clewley's dog, Chip, under such curious circumstances? I find it odd that Chip showed up in good health after 20 days without Joseph. It's almost as if someone cared for the dog during that time. How could a dog survive in the wild alone for nearly three weeks and appear clean and healthy? It makes me wonder if someone else might know something more about Joseph’s disappearance or was involved in some way. If the dog could find its way back, why not Joseph? I think it’s an angle that needs more attention. Thoughts?

I can't stop thinking about the strange details surrounding Joseph Clewley's disappearance. The fact that his van was left at the trailhead with keys inside and tank almost empty really throws me off. Was he planning a longer hike than usual, or was there some kind of emergency that made him leave everything behind? It's not typical behavior, especially for someone who knew the trails as well as he did. I find it particularly puzzling that Chip, the dog, returned clean and well-fed after 20 days. It makes you wonder if someone cared for him or if Chip managed to survive on his own somehow. The whole situation just doesn't add up, and I wonder if there's a piece of the puzzle we might be missing. Anyone else have theories on what might have happened during those 20 days?
