I recently came across Terry Long's case, and one detail I can't stop thinking about is how vital community involvement might be in bringing about justice. It’s been over two decades since Terry, fondly known as "Boodie," was murdered, and yet it seems like more eyes and ears are needed to uncover new information. Having grown up in a neighboring town, I can understand the tight-knit nature of communities in Ohio. I know how impactful it can be when locals rally together, sharing anything they might have seen or heard—even something they think might be inconsequential. As difficult as it must be for Terry's family and friends, I really hope someone out there has the courage to speak up. Sometimes it just takes one person coming forward to spark a shift in a case like this. I’m also impressed by the Dayton Police Department’s persistence and strategies, collaborating with the Ohio Attorney General's Office, and their outreach initiatives. It would mean the world for Terry's loved ones to feel some sense of resolution after all these years. Anyone with leads, however small, might really hold the missing piece of the puzzle. Here's hoping for a breakthrough soon.

Hey everyone, I’ve been diving deep into Terry Long’s case lately, and one thing that stood out to me is how apparently well-liked he was in his community. I came across some old news articles and discussions from back in the day, and it seems like "Boodie," as many called him, was really known for his compassionate nature and love for his family and friends. It breaks my heart to think that someone who meant so much to so many people could have his life cut short so tragically. It's such a sad reminder of how long his case has been at a standstill, with no justice served. Does anyone know if there’s been any public gatherings or memorials since the original ones, where the community has tried to come together to honor him and keep the case in the public eye? Also, I wonder if his family or friends have made any public statements or pleas recently? Hoping the passage of time might still bring forward some truth, even if it’s been 20+ years. ?️

Has anyone else looked into the community outreach efforts by the Dayton Police and the Ohio Attorney General’s Office regarding Terry Long's case? It's been on my mind how crucial community involvement can be in situations like this. I’ve read that they’ve organized several events over the years, trying to gather more information and keep the case in the public consciousness. It must be incredibly tough for Terry's family to have to live with all these years of uncertainty and pain, not knowing exactly what happened or why. I can only imagine the need for answers and the closure that could bring. Taking part in these events or simply sharing his story can be small but meaningful ways to help, I think. If anyone has attended or has more details on how these gatherings are structured, I’d love to hear about it. Maybe there's more we can all do to assist in keeping Terry’s memory alive and aid in the search for justice.
