I was recently looking into the case of Cosme Ibay, and something strikes me as quite odd about the location his car was found. Why was it parked at Gator Creek Preserve, of all places? It’s about 20 miles from where he was last seen, and I can’t find any obvious connection between him and this preserve. Did anyone check if he had plans to meet someone there, or if it was a route he commonly drove? Maybe there’s a detail there that was overlooked. Has anyone from the local area mentioned this before? It seems like a strange place to abandon a car, especially with all his responsibilities at home. Could it have been staged to look like a disappearance?
