I came across Toni Lee Sharpless’s case, and something that's been bothering me is the disappearance of her car. It’s unusual that both Toni and her black Pontiac Grand Prix vanished without a single clue left behind. With Toni’s phone last pinging near Brandywine Creek State Park, it makes me wonder why there haven't been more thorough searches in and around bodies of water or areas where a car could have gone off the road, even years later. I’ve read about cases where cars were found in deep brush or hidden under water, sometimes decades after they disappeared. Does anyone else think the focus should be on drone searches or using advanced sonar technology? It feels like finding the vehicle might be a crucial breakthrough. Also, it's haunting to think that the alleged anonymous tip about the car being sold after an accident didn’t produce any more solid leads. How common is it for entire vehicles to just vanish like this? Any thoughts or similar cases where a breakthrough happened years later would be great to hear about.

I've been following Toni Lee Sharpless's case for a while, and something about the anonymous letter tip from 2010 keeps sticking with me. Does anyone else find it strange that the letter claimed Toni’s car had been sold after an accident, yet no one has been able to track down any solid evidence of the car's whereabouts? It makes me wonder about the possibility of cover-ups or people involved who might have reasons to stay quiet. Even with all the media coverage at the time, it seems odd that this lead didn't go anywhere. Could it be a red herring, or is there more to it that hasn't been uncovered yet? It's been so long, yet people are still left with more questions than answers. If anyone has any thoughts or theories, I'd love to hear them.
