Hey everyone, I've been diving deep into the Columbus cold cases recently, and John Halley's tragic story has really stayed with me. I was struck by the location of the incident – 1655 Thomas Avenue. Does anyone here have any insight into this area back in 2000? Was it known for crime, or was this an unexpected event for the neighborhood? It's been over two decades, and I can't imagine the pain and frustration Halley's family must be going through with no answers. Sometimes, a shift in focus or revisiting old details can jog memories or bring forward someone who might have seen something they didn't realize was important at the time. Also, if there are any long-time Columbus residents here, it might help to know some local context or changes in the area since then. Any thoughts or memories you'd be willing to share could be invaluable. Let's keep the conversation going. Remember, even the smallest piece of information might be the missing link in solving this case and finally bringing some peace to those who cared about John. Stay safe, everyone.
