Has anyone seen the latest analysis on Susan Powell's journals? I was looking into some old reports and couldn't help but be struck by the detail in her writings about feeling unsafe. Those documents give me serious chills—Susan seemed so aware of the danger she was in. I'm curious if the content of her journals could have provided more insights earlier on. It's just so sad to think that someone can be so trapped in a situation where they feel compelled to document their fears, and even then, those fears weren't enough to prevent what happened. It's evident that there must have been so many red flags in that household that sadly went unnoticed or unaddressed until it was too late. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts.
Has anyone else looked into the timelines of Josh's story? I’ve always found the whole "spontaneous camping trip" narrative incredibly odd, especially considering the weather conditions that night. A snowstorm in December? With two little kids? It just doesn’t add up to me. Does anyone have more info on how far Simpson Springs is from their house in West Valley City and any weather reports from that night? I think understanding more about that drive and the conditions could shed some light or at least poke more holes in Josh’s account. Anyone with Utah weather knowledge from December 2009, please chime in!
