Does anyone else find it strange that Eric's car was found locked with all his belongings on the front seat? I've been thinking a lot about it—it seems so deliberate. Why leave everything out in the open like that? The fact that his car keys, wallet, and cell phone were there makes me wonder if he intended to return soon or wanted someone to assume he would. If you were meeting friends, wouldn't you take at least your phone with you? I'm not sure what to make of it. Just wondering if anyone has any theories about why he'd lock his car but leave everything so visible.
Has anyone considered the location where Eric's car was found? The Aqua Port parking lot near the Minnesota River seems quite a bit out of the way for someone planning to meet friends. Did he have any known interest or connections to that area? It's odd that his wallet, keys, and phone were left in plain sight on the front seat. It's almost as if he was intending to come back soon or wanted someone to find them. Could it have been staged to look that way? I feel like understanding why he ended up at that specific spot might reveal some clues. Does anyone here familiar with that area have any insights on its significance or any related events from around that time?
