He has a long scar on his right arm, running from above the elbow down the back of his forearm. Another distinguishing feature is a tattoo on his left shoulder of a playing card hand showing all four aces, with the ace of spades most prominent. Below the cards, the words "Ace of Spades" are tattooed. When he was last seen, it is believed he was wearing carpenter-style blue jeans and a t-shirt. The investigation into his disappearance is being handled by both the Lakeville and Bloomington Police Departments.
