Hey everyone, I've been going through some old cases and stumbled across the disappearance of Jonathan Dorey. Something that's been puzzling me is the sighting of someone matching his description swimming in the James River on that cold, rainy day. As someone familiar with river currents and conditions, it seems unlikely someone would go for a spontaneous swim, considering the risk and the weather. Could it have been someone else entirely, or maybe even a survivalist technique gone wrong? Also, does anyone know if there were any other reports of unusual activities around the James River around that time? An accidental encounter or a planned activity might shed new light on this case. Thoughts?
