Does anyone else find it particularly chilling that Jemar Hughes was killed in such a quiet neighborhood? I used to live just a few blocks away, and Oakdale Avenue was always such a peaceful area. It's hard to believe something so tragic could happen there. I can't imagine what Jemar's family must be going through, especially with so few answers after all these years. If anyone has any information, no matter how small it might seem, please consider reaching out to Crime Stoppers or the local police. This family deserves closure, and Jemar deserves justice. Hoping for a breakthrough soon.

I’ve been reading through the information we have on Jemar Hughes’ case, and something that really stands out to me is the lack of witnesses stepping up with info, despite this shooting happening in what I understand is a pretty populated area. It's incredibly frustrating to think that there might be someone out there who saw or heard something but hasn’t come forward for whatever reason.
Shootings are often loud and chaotic, and it’s hard to believe that no one has any tidbits to share—especially in a residential neighborhood! I wonder if people are scared to speak up, maybe out of fear of retaliation, or if there's a sense of mistrust with law enforcement. I hope that with more awareness in the community, it inspires at least one person to break the silence.
Jemar's loved ones deserve answers, and it hurts to think of the endless waiting and lack of closure they’ve endured for so long. Surely, someone knows something. Let's keep spreading the word and hopefully encourage someone to finally come forward with the missing piece of this puzzle.
