Has anyone else thought about how strange it is that the dogs came back without Ivy but seemed to be okay, like they knew how to get back home on their own? Dogs are usually so loyal, you'd think they'd stick with her if something went wrong. It's almost like they knew something was off and came back to alert the family. I wonder if the search dogs were able to follow their scent back from the hole in the ice to the house; maybe it would provide some clues? Also, did anyone else hear if there were any issues with the ice that year, like if it was weaker or something? It just seems odd how everything played out.
