Does anyone know if they ever found David’s life jacket? I remember reading that his father’s body was recovered, but there was no mention of whether David’s life jacket was found with him or separately. For those who follow these kinds of cases, you know how crucial a floating device can be in search efforts. It's puzzling that after such a wide search, no remains or personal belongings have surfaced. Have there been any updates or theories lately? It's been years, and I'm hoping someone local might have more insight.
Hey everyone, I’ve been digging into old missing persons cases and came across one that seems to have slipped through the cracks over the years - the disappearance of 17-year-old David Charles Whitehair. What gets me is how the authorities initially found their overturned boat near Port Mahon and nothing more than his father’s body a week later. With such a comprehensive search effort by the Coast Guard and others, it makes you wonder about the conditions that night. Does anyone know if weather or water conditions played a significant role, or were other factors at play here? Also, are there any updates or renewed efforts to find David over the years that we might have missed? It's frustrating when these cases go cold, but it’s important not to lose hope.
