Anyone else curious about the possible link between the stolen items and Flanigan's other crimes? If he was indeed involved in other burglaries, maybe there's a pattern or even more stolen items that could tie back to Dorothy's case. Sometimes piecing together a series of smaller thefts can help draw a bigger picture of someone's criminal behavior. It's interesting (and frustrating) how one piece of mishandled evidence can affect the entire trajectory of a case, especially one that's haunted a family for so long. My heart goes out to Dorothy's son and daughter-in-law for having to carry this burden all these years. I hope investigators can finally put all pieces together and bring justice for Dorothy.
