Has anyone else thought about how strange it is that Michael's dog, Romeo, vanished too? It makes me wonder if there's something more to this case than just a blind date gone wrong. I mean, it's not every day you hear about a person and their pet both disappearing without a trace. The fact that Romeo's food and water bowls were missing suggests that someone might have planned to take care of him. Could it be that whoever Michael went to meet had something to do with this? I'm curious if there are any security cameras in the Elmont area that captured anything around the time his Jetta was found. There's got to be some piece of the puzzle we're missing here. Thoughts?
Has anyone else looked into the area where Michael Taus’s car was found? Elmont isn’t exactly close to West Islip, and I’ve been trying to map out possible routes he could have taken from his home. It's puzzling how the car ended up there, still running, without any other signs. I wonder about gas station surveillance footage or traffic cameras that might have captured the car on the way. Could he have planned to meet this online date somewhere in Elmont, or is it possible someone else drove the car there? Also, the fact that his dog, Romeo, is missing too makes me think they were taken together. It’s like they vanished without a trace, which is just baffling. Would love to hear thoughts or if anyone has looked into whether there’s more video surveillance coverage in that part of town!
I’ve been following Michael Taus’s case and keep coming back to the location where his car was found—Elmont, NY. Does anyone else think it’s odd that he’d end up in Elmont? That’s quite a drive from West Islip. I get the feeling that this isn't a random place; maybe someone in his life knew the area. Wondering if anyone local remembers seeing anything unusual around that time? Also, with his dog, Romeo, missing and the bowls taken, it suggests he expected to be away just for a little bit. It makes me think someone set him up, but why go all the way to Elmont? Anyone have thoughts on how the car ended up there, still running? Feels like a clue that’s worth digging into.
