Has anyone else heard theories about Robert Bissell possibly stumbling across something illegal or dangerous in the wilderness that led to his disappearance? I know it might sound like a stretch, but I can’t stop wondering if there’s more to his case because he was experienced and seemed to be cautious. His gear was still at the campsite, and it looks like he didn’t plan to be away for long. What if he saw something he wasn't supposed to, like an illegal operation or someone hiding out there? It’s just a thought, especially since the area is vast and remote. Does anyone else have insights or similar thoughts?
Has anyone else been curious about the timing of Robert Bissell’s disappearance? I found it interesting that his brother didn’t raise the alarm until a week after first visiting the campsite. I know everyone handles things differently, and he might have assumed Robert was just off-grid, doing his thing. But given Robert's experience in the wilderness, you'd think any extended absence without contact would spark concern earlier, right? Do we know if Robert had any history of going on long excursions without checking in, or did something just seem "off" this time around to finally prompt action? Just trying to piece together what happened in those first crucial days.
