I’ve been thinking a lot about Rebecca’s case lately and the circumstances surrounding her last day at work. Does anyone else find it odd that her car was left in a Publix parking lot? It’s such a public space, and yet no new leads ever seemed to come from it. I'm wondering if maybe she had planned to meet someone there or if it was just a random location to abandon the car. Considering her relationship with Johnson and her attempts to leave him, perhaps she felt safest meeting someone new or someone she trusted in a public place in broad daylight. Just a thought, but I feel like revisiting small details like this could potentially shed new light on what might have happened that afternoon. Would love to hear any thoughts or similar cases where parking lots played a role.
Does anyone else find it strange how Rebecca's car ended up at that Publix? I keep thinking about the timing and logistics. If she was planning to leave Tim and had told her family about it, would she have parked there purposefully as part of her escape plan, or did something happen to her en route, and someone else drove it there? Maybe it was a spot they frequented, so the person who abandoned it knew it wouldn't raise immediate suspicions? I feel like this part of the case hasn't been looked into enough, or at least not publicly. Whatever happened, that critical few mile gap from her workplace to where her car was found might have some answers. Does Publix have more surveillance on the parking lot that never got released, or did they only check inside the store? There are so many questions about that area. Also, did they ever check nearby businesses for more footage? I heard about what was released, but surely there's more that never made it to the public. Thoughts?
