I came across an old article about the Diane Moon and Mark Yoli case, and something caught my attention. The area around Camp Lejeune back in 1962 was teeming with dense forests and uneven terrain. Given their adventurous streak, I'm curious—could it have been possible they hid out somewhere off the beaten path unintentionally? I know the search teams scoured the area, but kids have an uncanny ability to get into places adults wouldn't think to look. Also, how reliable was the surveying equipment back then? While Hunt's confession points in another direction, can we entirely rule out the possibility of a tragic accident that left no trace? It's unsettling, thinking of the gaps that might still exist in the narrative all these decades later. Just a thought, but what do others think about scouring every bit of untapped wilderness with today's advanced tech?
