Has anyone looked into whether a neighbor might have seen something on October 7, 2002? It was the middle of the day when William was shot, so there's a chance someone walking by or living nearby could have noticed the shooter or even just something unusual. Things like this are always so unsettling to think about—a young life taken so suddenly. It's hard to imagine the pain his family must be feeling even all these years later. With the reward still standing, hopefully, someone will come forward with a missing piece of the puzzle. Sometimes it's the small details that can make a big difference in solving a case. And in a close-knit community, you would think people would want to help bring closure to such a tragic event. Always keeping William's family in my thoughts—praying they receive the answers they need.
I've been following William English's case and something that's been on my mind is how little information there seems to be about potential witnesses. It's concerning to think that this happened in the middle of the day. Was it possible that neighbors or even passersby might have seen or heard something? The fact that the assailant was able to flee without being identified suggests either a lack of witnesses or maybe even fear of coming forward. I hope that anyone who might have been in the area on October 7, 2002, is reminded by these ongoing discussions and feels encouraged to share anything they might know, no matter how small it might seem. Every little detail could bring investigators one step closer to finding answers. William's family deserves to know what happened and to see justice served. Keeping them in my thoughts.
I was reading about the tragic case of William Joseph English IV, and something that really got me thinking was the fact that this all started with a simple knock at his door. It’s unsettling how something so ordinary can turn into a nightmare. The randomness of it all—answering the door as we all do—makes it feel even more chilling. It seems like William had no idea what was coming, and that thought just breaks my heart for him and his loved ones.
I can't help but wonder about the impact this has had on Fillmore Circle. It must be challenging for neighbors to come to terms with what happened right on their doorstep. Often, residents form a close-knit community, and such an incident undoubtedly leaves a scar on the neighborhood’s sense of safety and peace. My thoughts are with them, as well as with William's family and friends.
This case is still unsolved, and it seems like authorities are really at a standstill without witnesses or solid leads. If anyone here is from the Lorain area, did you hear anything back in 2002 or pick up on something unusual that might have been missed? It’s so important that we keep talking about these cases—we need to help where we can to try to get justice for William.
