Hey everyone, new to this forum and just stumbled upon the case of James Hurt Jr. It's absolutely tragic to see that his murder remains unsolved after all these years. Something that's been bothering me about this case is the location where it happened. That motel on East Main Street has a reputation, and I can't help but wonder if anyone else who stayed there might have seen or heard anything unusual around that time. Sometimes people write off strange occurrences as nothing, but in cases like this, even the smallest piece of information can be crucial. Does anyone else think there might be more witnesses who just haven't come forward? If anyone's familiar with the area or has any insights or thoughts about the motel itself and its clientele back then, it could really help reframe parts of the investigation. It feels like there must be more pieces to this puzzle, and I'm hoping that somehow, some way, there's still hope for some sort of closure for his family. Any thoughts?
