I've been going down a rabbit hole with the Christopher William Vigil case, and something that struck me is the mention of the Diet Pepsi can found at the scene. Was Diet Pepsi even a popular drink for kids back in 1978? Could it have been planted there as a diversion, or does it really indicate Christopher was there? Also, the two women who saw the man with the camera... their account is given a lot of weight, but there doesn't seem to be any follow-up on the identity of the man. In my opinion, if he was a local or a frequent visitor of the area, someone might recognize that description. Straw cowboy hats aren't exactly low-key, right? I feel like there's still a possible lead here. Maybe posting his details and the man’s description in local forums could shake something loose, even after all these years. Thoughts?
