Just came across an article about Telethia Good’s case, and it made me wonder about the role of media back in 1978. Given how quickly her disappearance gained attention, it seems like the local press did a decent job of covering it. But I can’t help but think about how different things might be today with social media and Amber Alerts. Back then, the community had to physically come together to distribute flyers and share information, which is both inspiring and tragic considering the limited reach. Anyone know if there were any major media outlets that kept following her case after the initial buzz? It’s so important to keep these stories alive, even decades later.
