Has anyone looked into the connection between Kimberly's stepfather's last name, McGee, and the investigations? I find it strange that it's mentioned she might have been using that surname at the time she went missing. Could there have been any reasons she would use a different last name in Jacksonville, especially when visiting family? It could be nothing or completely unrelated, but with cases like these, sometimes the smallest detail can be a piece of a larger puzzle. Maybe there’s something more behind her choice to use McGee besides just familial ties. Thoughts?

Hey everyone, I've been following Kimberly Rae Doss's case for a while now, and I recently stumbled upon a detail that got me thinking. It's regarding the theory about the Outlaws motorcycle gang possibly being involved in her disappearance. I know it's never been confirmed, but does anyone know if there's any record of increased gang activity in Jacksonville around that time? I feel like if there was a spike in gang-related incidents, it might lend some plausibility to this theory. Has anyone here come across news archives or reports from 1979 that mention anything? I know it's a long shot, but every little detail might help connect the dots. Also, does anyone have insight into what was happening with Kimberly’s uncle at that time? If he did take money, is there any documentation or reports that could back that up? It just seems strange that such a serious lead hasn't brought any closure after all these years. Thanks for any info you can share!
