I’ve been following Julie May Hill’s case for a while, and something that always stands out to me is the fact that she left her two dogs behind. Anyone who has pets knows how unusual that is, especially when you’re just stepping out for a moment. The Dobermans could’ve been a huge clue, maybe alerting someone to anything suspicious or barking if something happened. I wonder if anyone heard them or if they were seen by neighbors. It just doesn’t sit right that she would leave them like that without planning to come back soon. Anyone else find this really odd?
Has anyone else found it odd that Donald Bloomer only got three years in prison after confessing to accidentally shooting Julie? Even though he admitted to burying her body, it seems like such a short sentence given the circumstances. I understand they charged him with second-degree manslaughter, but three years? It feels like there should've been more accountability or consequences for his actions. Also, the fact that they never found Julie's remains makes the whole thing even more unsettling. I wonder if there were any issues with the investigation or if certain evidence was overlooked. It's frustrating that after all these years, her family still hasn't gotten the closure they deserve. Anyone have thoughts on why this case seems to have so many loose ends?
Hey everyone,
I've been following Julie May Hill's case for a while now, and something that's always baffled me is the situation with her dogs. If Julie left her apartment with intentions to return soon, why leave her Dobermans alone with food cooking on the stove? She was known to love those dogs dearly, so this seems really out of character for her. This makes me wonder if something urgent or unexpected lured her out of the apartment. I can't shake the feeling that the state of her home indicates she didn't just "step out" willingly. Has anyone come across other cases where small details like pets or cooking were major indicators of foul play? I think these are the kinds of details that are important to re-examine, even years later.
Would appreciate hearing any insights you all might have or if you’ve read about similar occurrences elsewhere.
