I keep coming back to the weird statement Kevin made before he left—"come with me to heaven." That phrase just sticks out like a sore thumb. Do you guys think it was just something a drunk teenager would say, or could it mean more? Maybe a nod to something specific about where he was heading or planning to do? It's eerie in context considering what happened with the Rex Hotel fire. Also, I find it odd that none of Kevin's friends mentioned trying to stop him or see where he was headed afterward. Could it mean they knew more than they let on at the time? Just feels like there are puzzle pieces missing here. I wish there was more focus on what he actually did between leaving the Union Hall and the fire. Thoughts?
