Kevin Lee Ellsworth, an 18-year-old from International Falls, Minnesota, disappeared on the night of July 11, 1982. Earlier in the evening, Kevin and some friends crashed a wedding reception at the local Union Hall, where he was involved in a disturbance. Witnesses reported that he left the hall around 2:30 a.m., heading toward a nearby bowling alley. His last known words were, "Anybody who stays around here is going to jail, come with me to heaven."
