Has anyone ever looked into the witness who claimed to have seen the murder? I've been thinking about whether their statement was ever fully corroborated. I know they mentioned Rader, but it doesn't seem like much became of their testimony since it led to two mistrials. Could it have been a false lead, or was there something more going on there? Sometimes witness statements like these hold more weight than we realize, and I wonder if this was ever explored in depth or if the witness may have had reasons to change their story. Would love to hear any thoughts or updates on this angle.
